Liturgy is always a shared action, whether we recognise our humble participation in divine action or the joining together in prayer of the whole people of God. Liturgical Space was set up by one priest, Gareth Hughes, as a vehicle for his thoughts and teaching on liturgy, but there is something essentially wrong in it remaining the work of one person. Here are some ways that you might be able to be part of the project:

  1. Reading, sharing and commenting on articles is a great way to interact with the blog. You can also use comments or the contact form to ask questions or to ask for a blog post on a particular topic.
  2. Become an author on the Liturgical Space blog and write your own blog posts on liturgy. In this way, the breadth and scope of the blog and its posts can be increased.
  3. Create a sub-domain of Liturgical Space (a web address something like thingumy.liturgical.space), to have a little bit of the world wide web for a liturgical project. (In a similar way, the Liturgical Kalendar is hosted on the sub-domain kalendar.liturgical.space) Possibilities for this sub-domain might be
    1. Create your own blog there.
    2. Create your own wiki there.
    3. Craft your own website either by hand or with a content management system.

If these thoughts spark ideas for you, or other ideas come to mind, do get touch with Gareth Hughes using the contact page.
